About Demietre Payne

Demietre Payne is called and set apart for the service of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is anointed and possesses the ability to catch God’s attention. She is a member of Abundant Life Ministries in Hurt, VA under the leadership of Pastor Stedman A. Payne, Sr. Accepting Christ at the age of 13 years old, she has experience maturing in the culture with Christ as the center and this experience has empowered her to minister through singing and teaching. God has given her a ministry in praise and worship that she has been faithful over since her early youth. She is the praise & worship leader, music ministry director, and serves as the administrator at Abundant Life.  The ministry of music is far more than just singing “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.” It is a process by which believers are drawn into the Holy of Holies resulting in a deeper awareness of God’s presence, a clearer understanding of our spiritual position in Christ and a greater commitment to His spirit in our lives. Music is fundamental to both private and public worship.  

Moving into her place in the kingdom while singing the gospel of Jesus Christ, God has used her to sing in many arenas in the eastern part of the nation, God is steadily opening doors across the country and expecting ultimately to the world. The mission in her music ministry seeks to evangelize those without Christ, enrich the worship experience of the church and educate the saints as basic biblical truth is proclaimed through song.  April 13, 2014 she officially accepted her call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  She was ordained an Elder, December 2019.  Her heart and passion is to reach lost souls and help others find their true passion.   She graduated from Longwood College with a degree in Business Administration.  She is the Owner/Operator of Pinpoint Services, providing bookkeeping and tax services.   She is also an assistant basketball coach, mentor, and influencer. 

Demietre is married to Stedman Andrei Payne Jr. of Lynchburg, VA. To this union, God has added to sons, Stedman, III (Trey), and Robert. Together they have been committed to not only growing in Christ as a couple, but striving to advance the kingdom in excellence. Having grown up in ministry together, both Pastor Andrei and Lady Demietre are committed to advancing the kingdom in submission to God’s direction and a heart to serve the people of God.
