  • Hello hello! Jillian here in North Carolina and I’m so excited to be here live with you all. What questions do you have for me?

    • Yes, it’s how you want to tell the story and think about it afterwards. You can tell a story that keeps the pain really raw and at the surface, instead of recognizing there was pain and disappointment, but it’s not like pouring salt in the wound. Does that help?

  • Sometimes I get tired of the Big Girls Pants! I’m not WONDER WOMAN and don’t have to appear that way all the time! ??? Thanks Jillian Lama! ❤️

    • Yes, I totally agree! And that’s just because other people aren’t good at handling their OWN emotions, let alone the emotions of other people. That’s ok, we can still love them AND give ourselves what we need in the moment.

  • Sometimes people say stupid things, whether you’re a kid or an adult. We can’t change that. What you CAN do is decide:
    1. Do you want to believe what they say?
    2. What DO you want to believe about yourself, your body, and your worth?

  • Such a great question about genetics!!! I will never look like a super model (I’m only 5’3” y’all!), but I can still look AND feel sexy, attractive, and good in my body. Because how we feel stems from how we think about our bodies.

  • It’s ok that you might overeat or emotionally eat. They real question is: are you LEARNING from it?
If you don’t have a process to assess, learn, and grow from your missteps, then make sure you get support and find a coach, community, or mentor who can help you get to the root of your eating habits.
