Hello hello! Jillian here in North Carolina and I’m so excited to be here live with you all. What questions do you have for me?
Thank you for joining us AND for sharing your story with us!
This is great information for grief! ??????????
I’m so glad to hear this, Cherille!
So is it all in how you perceive the situation?
Yes, it’s how you want to tell the story and think about it afterwards. You can tell a story that keeps the pain really raw and at the surface, instead of recognizing there was pain and disappointment, but it’s not like pouring salt in the wound. Does that help?
Sometimes I get tired of the Big Girls Pants! I’m not WONDER WOMAN and don’t have to appear that way all the time! ??? Thanks Jillian Lama! ❤️
Yes, I totally agree! And that’s just because other people aren’t good at handling their OWN emotions, let alone the emotions of other people. That’s ok, we can still love them AND give ourselves what we need in the moment.
This story…?
I really don’t like that 35+ is considered “geriatric…” ? That’s clearly young.
Right?! I don’t like that term at all!
Real talk! ?
So it’s not a bad thing to exercise while you’re pregnant? ?? That makes me happy!
Sometimes people say stupid things, whether you’re a kid or an adult. We can’t change that. What you CAN do is decide:
1. Do you want to believe what they say?
2. What DO you want to believe about yourself, your body, and your worth?
Yes! These questions are perfect to consider in times of emotional unrest and frustration.
“What can you do for the rest of your life without hating your life?” – Jillian Lama
Such a great question about genetics!!! I will never look like a super model (I’m only 5’3” y’all!), but I can still look AND feel sexy, attractive, and good in my body. Because how we feel stems from how we think about our bodies.
So true! And I’m glad that I asked that question because you really answered it in a way that shed light on it.
It’s ok that you might overeat or emotionally eat. They real question is: are you LEARNING from it?
If you don’t have a process to assess, learn, and grow from your missteps, then make sure you get support and find a coach, community, or mentor who can help you get to the root of your eating habits.
